What image should I upload?

Upload a square image (logo, icon, or brand mark) at least 512x512 pixels. The tool will resize it to all required favicon sizes.

What sizes are generated?

Five sizes: 16x16 (browser tab), 32x32 (browser tab), 180x180 (Apple Touch Icon), 192x192 (Android Chrome), and 512x512 (Android Chrome splash screen).

What is a web manifest?

A site.webmanifest is a JSON file that tells browsers about your web app — its name, icons, theme colour and display mode. It is required for Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

How do I install the favicons?

Extract the ZIP file to your website root directory. Copy the HTML snippet into the of your HTML. The icons and manifest will be served from the root.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing happens in your browser. Your logo never leaves your device.

Can I use a non-square image?

Yes, but the tool will center-crop your image to a square. For best results, start with a square image.
